1. Apprentice-in-Training (40 Hours Minimum)

Purpose:
To provide foundational knowledge and supervised clinical practice required to begin working under the guidance of a Certified Laser Hair Removal Professional.

Course Components:

Laser Theory & Fundamentals
- Principles of laser and light-based technologies
- Laser physics and safety standards
- Fitzpatrick skin typing and hair growth cycles
Anatomy & Physiology
- Skin and hair structure
- Contraindications and client assessment
Texas Laser Regulations
- TDLR rules, safety standards, and scope of practice
- Supervision and record keeping requirements
Hands-On Clinical Practice
- Observation and guided application of laser treatments
- Laser device operation and safety procedures

Outcome:
Upon successful completion, the student is eligible to apply for the TDLR Apprentice-in-Training Certificate, allowing them to perform laser hair removal under supervision.

2. Technician Certification

Purpose:
To advance from apprentice level to independently perform laser hair removal treatments under a Senior or Professional Laser Hair Removal Technician’s oversight.

Requirements:

Completion of 100 additional supervised procedures
Documented practical experience in client care, treatment planning, and device operation
Demonstration of laser safety and sanitation compliance

Outcome:
Eligible to apply for Laser Hair Removal Technician Certification through TDLR.

3. Senior Laser Hair Removal Technician Certification

Purpose:
For experienced technicians seeking to supervise and train apprentices while performing advanced treatments.

Requirements:

At least one year of experience as a certified technician
Documentation of a minimum of 100 laser procedures performed
Continued education in advanced laser safety and treatment technique

Outcome:
Eligible to apply for Senior Laser Hair Removal Technician Certification through TDLR.

4. Professional Laser Hair Removal Technician Certification

Purpose:
To prepare highly experienced laser professionals to oversee, train, and manage all levels of laser hair removal practitioners.

Requirements:

At least one year of experience as a Senior Technician
Supervisory and instructional experience in a licensed facility
Completion of continuing education in laser technology, skin safety, and regulatory compliance

Outcome:
Eligible to apply for Professional Laser Hair Removal Technician Certification—the highest level recognized by TDLR.

Payment Plan

This option allows you to break up your payments into 4 installments. Each Installment will incur a $18 pay plan fee. The full deposit must be paid prior to attending classes. Remaining balance must be paid prior to receiving certifications to submit hours to the state.

Return and Refund Policy

Refund Policy – Laser Hair Removal Program

Program Tuition: $1,800
Deposit: $900 (Non-Refundable)

At the International Institute of Aesthetic Arts and Beauty, we are committed to providing high-quality education and training experiences. Please read our refund policy carefully before enrolling in the Laser Hair Removal Program.

Non-Refundable Deposit:
A $900 deposit is required to secure your enrollment in the Laser Hair Removal Program. This deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to withdrawal, cancellation, or failure to attend.
Remaining Balance:
The remaining balance of $900 is due 3 days prior to the start of class unless a payment plan has been approved in writing.
Refund Eligibility:
- Before Class Start Date:
  If a student withdraws at least 7 days prior to the scheduled start date, they may receive a refund of any tuition paid beyond the $900 deposit.
- After Class Has Begun:
  Once the program has started, no refunds will be issued for any portion of tuition paid.

Program Cancellation by the Institute:
In the event the Institute cancels or postpones a class, students may choose to transfer to the next available session or request a refund of tuition paid, excluding the non-refundable deposit, unless the program is permanently canceled.
Transfer or Credit Requests:
The Institute may, at its discretion, allow students to transfer their enrollment to a future class date within 90 days of the original start date. Transfers are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.
Acknowledgment:
By submitting payment and enrolling in the Laser Hair Removal Program, the student acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to this refund policy in full.
